Hi, I'm Marco Peretto, a software engineer with a great passion for computer science and writing clean and commented code.
You can also call me 'The Historian', because another big passion of mine is studying history. There was a time when I was undecided whether to study history or computer science.
I was born in '97 and have been involved in computer science for over 10 years, since I was still a teenager at the age of 16. However, I'm starting to feel a bit old now.
Throughout my work experience, I have been fortunate enough to explore the development world from different perspectives.
I started as a frontend developer, then moved towards the Cloud field, choosing to work with Google. Additionally, I developed backend skills, mainly using Python and Node.js as reference languages.
If you ask me which animal I identify with, I would say the TCP Protocol. Why? Well, if you want to know, you'll have to hire me.
Dec 2023 - Present
I am currently involved in porting an application from a monolithic architecture to a microservices solution.
The technologies used are: Node.js with the NestJS framework and TypeORM on a PostgreSQL database, Azure, AKS, and Docker.
Oct 2022 - Oct 2023
As a professional in the IT field, I voluntarily participate in the development of a new global infrastructure to connect all Junior Enterprises together.
Dec 2021 - Dec 2023
As a software engineer, I specialize in developing automation and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. My skills include extracting text through OCR techniques, document classification, and entity extraction.
Oct 2021 - Dec 2023
I contributed to the development of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and web applications, and later expanded my role as a backend developer and Cloud infrastructure manager.
2018 - Present
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
2018
Diploma as a computer expert, Grade 84/100.
Here you can find a series of projects I have worked on or collaborated on.
Do you have an interesting project in mind? Don't hesitate to contact me! I'm always looking for new opportunities to put my skills into play.
